What is “Gundam”?
It started with the broadcast of “Mobile Suit Gundam” in 1979.
“Gundam” are a type of weapon called MS (mobile suits)
featured throughout the many series of the franchise.
“Gundam” is enjoyed worldwide in various forms of media.
The collective name of the series is “Gundam”.

You can build a deck from four types of cards.
The vast combinations of Units and Pilots allows for a variety of strategies and tactics.
Freely use a wide variety of tactics in battle to obtain victory!
How to Play the GUNDAM CARD GAME
VICTORY CONDITIONS
The game ends when either player wins by satisfying one of the following victory conditions:
- You deal battle damage to your opponent when they have no cards in their shield area.
- *Battle damage is damage dealt by a Unit according to its AP.
- Your opponent has no cards in their deck.
NECESSARY FOR PLAY
A 50-card [Deck], a 10-card [Resource Deck], [Token Cards], and Damage Counters such as dice.

A deck is constructed using the following four card types:
Unit

Pilot

Command

Base

A deck contains exactly 50 cards.
Up to 2 colors of cards may be included.
Up to 4 cards of the same card number may be included.
CARD TYPES

Unit Cards
Units are deployed into the Battle Area. Up to 6 Units may be deployed at once.
Units cannot attack on the turn they are deployed, but they can attack starting from your next turn.
When a Unit is paired with a Pilot and the link requirements are fulfilled, that Unit becomes a Link Unit and can attack immediately on the turn they are deployed.

Pilot Cards
A Pilot is paired with a Unit in the Battle Area by placing it underneath the Unit. Each Unit can pair with 1 Pilot.
When a Pilot is paired with a Unit, it gets the AP and HP listed on the Pilot Card.
Additionally, the paired Unit gets the listed Pilot ability. A Pilot can pair with any Unit.

Command Cards
Commands are one-time use cards that can give you an advantage in battle.
Some commands can be activated during your opponent's action step, while others can be treated as a Pilot.

Base Cards
Deployed in your Shield Area.
Use Bases to protect your shields and use their abilities to support your strategy.
No more than 1 Base is deployed at a time.
PLAYSHEET AND CARD PLACEMENT

- ❶Deck Area
- Place your deck here.
Draw cards from your Deck Area into your hand.
- ❷Resource Deck Area
- Place your Resource Deck here.
- ❸Shields
- Take 6 cards from the top of your deck and place them here face down at the start of the game.
- ❹Resource Area
- Place your Resources here.
You can play a card if the number of Resources you have is equal to or greater than the card's Lv. To pay a card's cost, rest (turn horizontally) a number of Resources equal to the cost.
The second-turn player places 1 EX Resource at the start of the game.
No more than 5 EX Resource Token cards allowed.
- ❺Battle Area
- Units are deployed here. No more than 6 Units allowed.
1 Pilot may be paired with 1 Unit.
- ❻Base
- Bases are deployed here.
Place an EX Base here at the start of the game.
No more than 1 Base is deployed at a time.
- ❼Trash
- Place trashed cards here.
PLAYING A CARD
Rest (turn horizontally) Resources to pay a cost and play a card.

You can play a card if the number of Resource you have is equal to or greater than the card's Lv. To pay a card's cost, rest a number of Resources equal to the cost.

If you have 4 or more Resources, you can play this.

Rest 2 Resources and play.
TURN PROGRESSION
The game progresses through the following phases 1 to 5, starting with Player One.
- ❶Start Phase
- Set all rested (horizontal) cards as active (vertical).

- ❷Draw Phase
- Draw 1 card.

- ❸Resource Phase
- Draw 1 card from your Resource Deck and place it into your Resource Area.

- ❹Main Phase
- You may play a card from your hand, activate an [Activate/Main] ability, or attack with a Unit.

- ❺End Phase
- End your turn, and it becomes your opponent's turn.
