Vineroot Shade – John Blanche Masterclass

Vineroot Shade is a miniature wash from The Army Painter Masterclass: John Blanche collection, created in collaboration with John Blanche for expressive, gothic miniature painting.

Painting applications

Use Vineroot Shade to emphasise folds, recesses and surface texture on miniatures. Apply controlled shading to connect painted areas and darken selected details, then add highlights where you want the eye to focus.

Explore the grimdark style on wargaming miniatures, character models and display projects, using contrast and texture to give your painting its own character.
